Congratulations Daniel Chen, Freshman and Brandon Li, Level 6!

Congratulations to Brookfield Academy Level 9 student Daniel Chen and Level 6 student Brandon Li who each placed third in their racing divisions and both set personal records in the 500m at the 2026 Carl Cepuran Memorial Interscholastic Speedskating Challenge at the Pettit National Ice Center. Daniel Chen's performance qualified him for the U.S. Short Track Championships in Salt Lake City this September!

Daniel and Brandon were joined by Olivia Chen, Emma Chen, Luke Ling, and Max Yu in representing Brookfield Academy at the competition. Together, the BA skaters earned first place among 29 schools from the United States, Canada, and Great Britain. Congratulations to all of our skaters on this outstanding accomplishment!
