  • Congratulations Ilina Joshi, Sophomore!

    Congratulations to sophomore, Ilina Joshi who won the Wisconsin Philharmonic 2025 Shining Stars Scholarship High School Award for her outstanding violin performance. She played the Concerto No. 1 in G minor, 1st movement by Max Bruch. Ilina is the Co-assistant concertmaster for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO). Freshman Ishani Joshi, also is an accomplished violinist. She has participated in the State Honors Orchestra, UW Milwaukee High School Honors Orchestra, MYSO, and other chamber orchestras. 
  • Congratulations Nora Dysart, Level 8!

    Bravo! Level 8 student, Nora Dysart, will be performing in Milwaukee's First Stage Theater debut of Esperanza Rising. She has the role of Storyteller in the show. Set in the 1930s, Esperanza Rising is a poetic tale of a young girl's triumph over adversity. Two young storytellers, with the help of an ensemble of actors, weave the tale of Esperanza. The show opens May 2 and if you'd like to see Nora perform, select a performance by the Hope Cast.
  • Congratulations Nathan Janavitz, Level 8!

    Nathan Janavitz, Level 8, plays in Illinois for the Northwest Chargers Bantam Major hockey team. The team won the Central States Developmental Hockey League Regular Season and Playoff Championships, finished in third place in the Illinois AA State Hockey Championships, and were ranked first in the nation in My Hockey Rankings for Tier II. Nathan was selected to play in the Central States Developmental Hockey League All Star game in March. Way to go Nathan!
