Speaker: Gerald Gangaram, Retired U.S. Army Major and Combat Veteran

Drawing on lessons from combat, the cockpit, and life beyond the uniform, Gerald Gangaram explores what it means to live the values we ask our leaders to uphold. Your Oath. Your Office. challenges each of us to recognize the role we hold and the responsibility we share in shaping our communities and our country.
Gerald Gangaram is a retired U.S. Army Major, combat veteran, and accomplished leader. A graduate of West Point, he served as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan, earning numerous military honors before going on to command the Army’s largest attack helicopter company and serve as a strategic planner at the Pentagon. He holds an MBA from Georgetown University and today serves as Vice President of Student Programs at the Bill of Rights Institute, continuing his commitment to servant leadership, public service, and helping others reach their potential.
