Ella Thompson was recruited and selected to play for the National Softball Youth Elite Team, with other prominent athletes from across the country in the Softball Fest Tournament in Panama City Beach. At the tournament her team was 5-0 after pool play and took 3rd place in the tournament overall. While there, Ella had two singles, two doubles, a Home Run, and 5 RBIs. She was the only participant from Wisconsin, and she represented BA well.
