  • After-School Program Coordinator/Lower School Recess Supervisor

    Brookfield Academy, a private, independent, college preparatory day school, is seeking a full-time After-School Program Coordinator/Lower School Recess Supervisor for the 2026-27 school year. This combined role oversees and manages all aspects of the After-School Program while also supporting the Lower School as Recess Supervisor. Working hours will be 9:30 am-6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Key responsibilities include:

    After-School Program Coordinator
    • Oversee After-School Programming for Narnia, Enrichment, MAP, and Upper School Supervision including budget, billing, registration, and marketing
    • Recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation of program staff, as well as coordination of substitutes when needed
    • Implementation and communication of policies and procedures
    • Manage and supervise Upper School student workers to assist program staff
    • Create and maintain contracts with enrichment program vendors
    • Work with Administration to implement crisis management and behavior management protocols
    • Ensure all programs are high-quality, creative, and safe for all participants
    Recess Supervisor
    • Ensure student safety, maintain order, and enforce rules consistently
    • Stay attentive and punctual
    • Build positive relationships with students and staff
    • Assist injured students and communicate disciplinary concerns to teachers and administrators
