Level B Curriculum

Phonics, a key to the Academy’s success in English, continues with an emphasis on spelling and reading aloud in Level B. Vocabulary is developed through reading selections, which range from traditional tales to more contemporary selections focusing on character development. 

Level B students focus on writing more complex sentences while continuing to use correct capitalization and punctuation. Using voice and word choice, students begin to craft short stories.
