Reading

They incorporate an emphasis on Greek and Roman history culminating in an age-appropriate text retelling of The Iliad and The Odyssey. Grammar includes all eight parts of speech, a review of the six verb tenses, and more complex diagramming.

Writing

In  Level 4, the writing traits are applied through final writing pieces including: narrative and descriptive,a book report, research report and chapter summaries. Cursive handwriting is required in all subjects except math and spelling.
