Career: I have worked as a chiropractor in private practice for the past 38 years. I have worked as such in several capacities; first as an associate, then as a sole proprietor, and finally as clinic director for a multi-doctor and multi-disciplinary clinic in a suburb of Minneapolis. I care for people of all ages and have a particular specialty in the care of patients with scoliosis and other spinal disorders. I also spent 15 years as the chiropractor for the Minnesota Vikings.

Where have you lived: I have spent the bulk of my years since graduation in the Twin Cities, having moved there in 1977. In the years prior to moving to Minneapolis I spent time in Montreal, was a ski bum in Taos, New Mexico, sailed in the pacific, and traveled throughout Mexico and Central America.
My wife's name is Nancy; we have been married for 32 years. We have 2 children- Kailey (30), who is married to Sean, and Ryan (27) who is just finishing law school after finishing his undergraduate work as a stage actor- really. Kailey currently works with me as one of the doctors in our clinic. She and Sean had their first child 4 months ago. Her name is Marlo James and she is our first grandchild; we are late bloomers. We fell instantly in love.
I continue to be very active, and that is unavoidable since my work is quite aerobic all by itself. I play golf, avidly ski, cycle, and, until quite recently, was doing Crossfit. I have, for the sake of self-preservation, scaled back and am trying to be a little nicer to my body.
