With over forty-five years of experience in sales, marketing, consulting, family counseling, and operations management, I have recently focused on cemetery counseling services for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries as a part-time, semi-retirement ministry.

I decided to transfer from the corporate world of business coaching and dealing with those experiencing job loss with LAK Group in Brookfield to those planning for or experiencing the loss of a loved one. Prior to working with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and joining LAK Group, I was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cudahy Tanning Company. This executive position was earned after many years in leadership positions working for Academy of Basic Education founder and mentor, Bill Law, in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

A lifelong resident of southeastern Wisconsin, I am active in leadership roles with my church and Brookfield Academy and have also served as Board and Committee Chair for numerous professional and volunteer organizations. I mentor young men, families, and married couples and hope to work throughout retirement serving others as best I can. Linda has been employed by Brookfield Academy for over forty years and we have attended the same parish church during that time.

After graduating from SMU, I accepted Bill Law's offer to work in management for his tannery and lived in the apartment with my mom in Elm Grove. Linda transferred from SMU after our engagement, attended UW-Milwaukee, and lived in the Washington Highlands with the Gentiles until we were married.

Linda and I were fortunate to buy a little ranch home in Wauwatosa in 1976 and then moved to a cape cod just into Waukesha County, where we eventually adopted our two children. We moved to a larger home in Brookfield for most of Michael (Class of 2000) and Katie's (Class of 2001) years attending the Academy. After their graduation, Linda and I found a condo in Brookfield with wonderful, natural outdoor space.  We hope you will come to visit us when you come to town!

Mike found a terrific girl that grew up close to the old Pryor farm in Bay View. Beth and Mike were married on the island of Crete in 2016 and reside along the Milwaukee River with Mali and Sanka, the dogs that each brought to the marriage. We are granddog parents! Michael and Beth are employed, hard-working, caring, supportive, and fun-loving!

Katie is a dynamic young woman who has lived in Chicago as a Packer fan ever since college. We are blessed to have our children so close to us.  Katie has been involved with numerous production freelance projects for independent films, commercials, and theater. She is so very talented at most all she does and has played soccer competitively from grade school through college and into her Chicago co-ed adult league. She has held several gig and nannying jobs simultaneously, and continues moving forward paying those high rental prices and taxes in Illinois with her many, many friends.

Hobbies include reading, studying, making lists, traveling (except for 2020!), hanging out with our children when they want me, enjoying and developing friendships, viewing movies, attending theater, getting better with a pitching wedge, fishing every so often, hiking, watching athletic contests, and putzing around on projects.
