2019 Dinner Auction

BA Parents Reserve your VIP Table!

Includes seating for 10 guests. Each guest receives bottomless Prosecco during dinner, a boutonniere or corsage, framed photo, discounted hotel rate (see details when registering), and one Five Star Raffle ticket. You and your BA friends and family name your VIP table (ex: Level 1 VIPs, Friends of BA, Senior Class of 2019)!

Level Baskets

It is a fun tradition of BA to have incredible Level Baskets available to purchase in the Silent Online Auction! Each basket has a special theme. A Level Leader will do all the shopping and packaging. Support the Dinner Auction by donating to your child’s Level Basket. Any amount large or small is truly appreciated. Send form and check payable to Brookfield Academy with amount to apply to each level to the Advancement Office by April 26. All proceeds benefit the 2019 Dinner Auction. Thank you to Aimee Weiner and all Level Leaders for organizing the Level Baskets!

Masked Favors

Time to send that special note to your special BA loved one! The last delivery date is April 12. Each unique Masked Favor will include a mysterious sweet treat! Complete the form here and return at least one day prior to delivery date to your division’s Administrative Assistant or to Lori Kaari in the Advancement Office.

Raffle Tickets

Get your raffle tickets now! Grand Prize: $5,000 CASH, 2nd Prize: $1,500 CASH, 3rd Prize: $500 CASH! Need not be present to win. Send your raffle purchase to the Advancement Office in Founders Hall. We keep the stub, you keep the rest! Good luck! Raffle tickets also available for purchase on the night of the event.

Sponsorships and Item Donations

The Auction Committee is currently accepting sponsorship donations to help underwrite the cost of the dinner, appetizers, centerpieces, entertainment, and much more. They are also looking for item donations for the Silent Auction. If interested in either of these opportunities, please contact Peter Grossman in the Advancement Office. Thank you to all who have participated!

Amazon Wish List

Make a donation right from your home! Visit our Amazon Wish List for access to online shopping! These items will be delivered directly to Brookfield Academy.   • Is there assigned seating during the dinner and Live Auction?

    Yes. There are pre-arranged tables during the dinner and Live Auction. You may coordinate with friends to form a full or partial table of 10 or ask to be seated with other parents from your child’s class or alumni class.
  • I received an invitation in the mail. Do I need to RSVP?

    Yes. Please respond as soon as possible but no later than April 23 to reserve your space. Invitations were mailed on March 15 to all BA families. If you would like us to send an invitation to someone else, please email their name and address to Lori Kaari in the Advancement Office.
  • What should I wear?

    Cocktail attire with a mask - for the Masquerade Ball of course!

    Ladies - Long or short cocktail dresses are perfect for this event!

    Gentlemen - A suit and tie is great. If you enjoy wearing a tuxedo, wear a tuxedo!

    Don’t forget your masks. There will be some great photo opportunities!

  • May I come by myself?

    Yes - absolutely! The Auction is a fun, community-building event filled with camaraderie.

    New to BA? This is a great way to meet families in the BA community. We will make sure you feel welcome!
  • What time should I get there?

    The event starts at 6 pm. 7:30 pm the enchantment begins. You will not want to miss this!
  • May I buy raffle tickets the night of the Auction?

    Yes. The raffle winners will be drawn at 8 pm during dinner.
  • Where do the proceeds from the Auction go?

    All proceeds support our Theatre Program and Athletic Program which benefits the entire BA community.
  • Will I receive a Program Book in advance?

    Program Books containing the Live Auction item descriptions, as well a the schedule of events, will be distributed at check-in on Auction night.

  • What is the difference between the Silent Online Auction and the Live Auction?

    Silent Online Auction: Bidding opens for the Silent Online Auction on Friday, April 26 - one week before our event. Pictures and descriptions will be posted. Bidding for these items ENDS on May 4 at 8 pm. Online auction items will be on display the night of the event.

    Live Auction: Bidding opens for the Live Auction on Saturday, May 4 at 8 pm. Live auction items will only be available for viewing on the night of the event.
  • How do I register to bid online?

    A unique URL will be provided in April on the BA website and in all our publications. The link to the Silent Online Auction allows you to register as a bidder for both auctions.
  • Do I have to buy anything at the Dinner Auction?

    We think you’ll be tempted and hope you will! Any amount - whether it is large or small - benefits the children at BA. It’s all for the kids!
  • What types of items will be auctioned?

    There are many exciting offerings in the Silent Online Auction and Live Auction. These fabulous items include luxury vacations, unique experiences, restaurant gift cards, and everything in-between. There is truly something for everyone!
  • May I charge my Auction purchases?

    All Silent Online Auction and Live Auction items must be paid for in full the night of the Auction. Payment must be made by personal check payable to Brookfield Academy or charged on VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Cash, check, or credit card payments are accepted for the Signature Cocktail drinks and attractions the night of the event.
  • I cannot come that night. May I still bid?

    Yes. Simply register to bid online and join the fun!
  • How may I volunteer?

    There are still many ways to help! Get in touch with Auction Co-Chairs, Sue Simic and/or Melissa Watts.
  • I can’t find my question here. Who do I contact?

    Please contact Lori Kaari or Peter Grossman. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the Auction.
