The Annual Fund and its partner, the Dinner Auction, are the major sources of financial support for creating student opportunity. Whether it is capital items, program needs, endowment, or scholarships, the generous support of the Brookfield Academy community ensures that students are ready for future challenges. We are so serious about our focus on students that this year's Annual Fund brochure was designed by one of our BA graphic arts class students!
Exploration, Character, Opportunity, and Excellence are created by support for the Annual Fund. The 2011-12 Annual Fund Drive is dedicated to "making an impact" on the lives of BA students by providing support for the following projects and programs:
• LS, MS, and US - SMART Boards • LS, MS, and US - classroom remodeling • Lower School A-2 - intercom/phone system, door locks for better security, new carpet • Lower School 3-5 - new library books and library updating, iPads • Middle School - potter's wheel for the art program • Upper School - science lab additions, library balcony remodeling • Music Program - new equipment and instruments • Athletic Program - batting cage and bleachers for small baseball diamond
The Annual Fund encourages participation and BA believes interest in a specific program motivates donor participation. You can choose to directly support a specific funding area or allow BA to direct the use of the funds. Gifts, large and small, are appreciated and valued.

Please consider giving and support BA! Throughout the year, there will be level competitions based on participation in the Annual Fund. You could help your child's level win a dress down day or pizza party!
It has always been the philosophy of Brookfield Academy that development dollars go directly to capital improvements, scholarships, special student programs, and endowment. No Annual Fund money is used to subsidize the operating budget.
Here is a partial list of projects that have been funded and supported by participation in the Annual Fund and Dinner Auction over the past 10 years:
• Extensive renovation of all academic buildings • Classroom upgrades and remodeling • New playgrounds • Five Star Legacy Endowment Fund • Four complete science lab remodels • Library enhancements • SMART Boards in 60% of classrooms • Five Stars to Success scholarship program • Overhead projection and sound systems in 90% of campus classrooms • Music labs • Theater sound and lighting equipment • Campus-wide security system • All-weather track • Lights for the athletic field • Locker room addition at Fields of Freedom • 1,000 seat bleacher and press box addition to athletic fields
Since 2000, over $9 million has been raised to support student needs. BA thanks all who have supported the Annual Fund!
