"We stand here on the shoulders of those founders, those visionaries, those people who willed this school into existence and then sustained its lifeblood with principled conviction." Tom Davis '71 - 2012 Founders Day Speech
The Annual Fund and its partner, the Dinner Auction, are the major sources of financial support for creating student opportunity. Whether it is capital items, program needs, endowment, or scholarships, the generous support of the Brookfield Academy community ensures that students are ready for future challenges.
In the spirit of ensuring a strong future, this year's 50th Anniversary Annual Fund appeal is focused on providing support for the Five Star Legacy Endowment. The endowment, started in 2002, was established as part of a long-range plan to ensure the financial stability of the school. Revenue from the endowment provides financial support for academic programs, athletics, faculty development, fine arts, and scholarships.
Unlike the traditional Annual Fund drive, with its emphasis on capital projects and improvements, this drive focuses on people and programs essential to carrying on the tradition of excellence with which the Academy is clearly identified. The Annual Fund will also continue to support capital improvements. Capital improvements fulfill the needs in technology, fine arts, and athletics. You may designate the direction of your gift.
