Brookfield Academy was well represented at the regional
MATHCOUNTS meet by the team of Jason Tan (7),
Martin Toledo (8), Nathan
Washburn (8) and Alex Zhu (7), along with
individual competitors Adil Bhatia (8),
Jay Chand (7), Sriram Gollapudy
(7), Michael Kashian (7), Pranav
Kulkarni (7) and Kristen Sportiello (8),
all coached by Mrs. Janet Kenny.
We are pleased to announce that our team came in first among the
15 participating schools, with Martin and Kristen ranking 2nd, Alex
ranking 4th and Nathan ranking 7th among more than 110
participants. Jason, who also did well at the regionals, will join
Martin, Nathan, Alex and Kristen as they advance to the State level
Competition, on March 3 in Madison. Congratulations to all! Go
