The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has named four
Brookfield Academy seniors as National Merit Finalists. The
Brookfield Academy students recognized are Nicole
Bray, Elizabeth Collins, Safeeyah
Quereshi and Randal Ruvalcaba.
The number of national semifinalists is less than one percent of
all high school seniors. Approximately 90 percent of semifinalists
nationwide advance to the finalist level; half of the finalists
will win a National Merit Scholarship, which will be awarded later
this spring.
Congratulations to these students and best of luck in their
pursuit of a National Merit Scholarship award.
