Art Students Win Scholastic Art Awards-Wisconsin!

Congratulations to the following students who were recognized at this year's
Scholastic Art Awards-Wisconsin. Madison Larson-Rolf (12), 1 Gold Key Award and the American Visions Scholastic Art Award (Best in Show!); Sarah Tyson (12), 4 Gold Key Awards, 1 Honorable Mention, and 1 Gold Key Portfolio; C.J. Caponi (11), 1 Honorable Mention Award; Aazam Chattha (10), 1 Honorable Mention Award; Kathryn Dykstra (11), 1 Honorable Mention Award; Emily Esser (10), 1 Honorable Mention Award; Gigi Gastevich (10), 1 Gold Key Award; Katie Shanahan (12), 1 Gold Key Award; and Lujia Zhu (11), 1 Gold Key Award.

Over 1500 works were submitted by Wisconsin students in grades 7-12. Our students who have won a Gold Key Award will have their art featured among 388 outstanding works as part of an exhibition on view at the Milwaukee Art Museum from February 4 - March 4. Those winning Gold Key Awards will also advance to the National level of the Scholastic Art Awards.
